100% Iberian acorn-fed ham is the jewel of our gastronomy and at Carrasco Ibéricos it is also a fundamental part of our essence, a way of bringing the flavour of our land and an important part of our heritage to every palate.

Our 100% Iberian acorn-fed ham is characterised by its shiny appearance, unmistakable aroma and a soft and juicy texture that fills every bite with flavour.

The quality of our 100% Iberian acorn-fed ham begins with the selection of "Carrasco breed" Iberian pigs. These are reared in our pasture in Jerez de los Caballeros, in the province of Badajoz, a perfect place for them among holm oaks and cork oaks. The enormous holm oak grove of our pastureland allows our pigs to feed on the key ingredient, the acorn of the Extremadura pastureland. For this reason, we can offer unique and exclusive Iberian varieties to our customers.

The curing period of our 100% Iberian acorn-fed acorn-fed ham is between 36 and 48 months. This process is carried out in our drying room in Guijuelo, in the province of Salamanca, where the best climatic conditions are met to achieve a product of the highest quality.

The Carrasco Ham activates each of the senses one by one before it reaches the palate:
Sight: its bright red colour and its cherry-coloured veins make its cut as striking as it is irresistible.
Smell: close your eyes to perceive the pasture, but also the aroma of chocolate, nuts, dried fruits and candies. A unique aroma.
Touch: juiciness, smoothness, tenderness and delicacy. Our hams are proof that this product does not have to be hard to be of high quality.
Taste: once all of the above are active, you will start salivating without even tasting the ham. Once you do: happiness, umami, aftertaste... All the points on your tongue will be activated with its low salt point, as its flavour is somewhat sweeter and longer.
